"There was a time when Italian cars were designed by men and bore names as light and strong as the wind, they were works of art, a symbol of inspiration, courage, imagination and beauty, a culture that has made us unique all over the world.
I entered this garage and seeing this splendid example of a 1969 Maserati Mistral in a single instant I reread the history of the Trident, but also that of Turin and its native designer Pietro Frua, who brought together in this car the stylistic features that made it great.
There are many elements that tell of its style, such as the large glass surface compared to the body, made of steel but with aluminum doors and rear window frame, the exceptional, for the times, curvature of the windows to the point of causing a crowning of the windshield pillars.
And then the grille, which instead of being above the bumper, is below and looks like a wide mouth a few centimeters from the ground with the symbol of symbols in the center. A car in which there is everything you need to experience the value of historic cars, with an incredibly preserved interior that makes you travel back in time, and that considerable space for luggage under the rounded rear window that gives rise to the desire to travel the world.
A lot of innovation supported in this example by a powerful 4-liter in-line 6-cylinder with Lucas injection. They are not cars, but pages of a history that must be remembered, preserved and told, especially to young people who can find inspiration for their future in it."
